Im trying have added a Bri Trunk board(TN556D) and have set the interface field as 'network' and Country Protocol as '4' for Europe but I'm not sure if this is correct. Does anybody have the correct settings for this screen and also I'm needing to set up a trunk group for this BRI baord and i'm not sure what this settings are. I;ve set up UDP for various extensions to route via AAR to a trunk group but I haven't established what the correct settings are. This setup is to route calls to ISDN fax boards. Canm someone explain how I might do this?

I can explain this to you but thats to much to write down.

Look at the avaya website for proper documentation.

I can give you some tips:

Once you set up the BRI board make sure that the trunks are "in service idle" before you go any further. Your UDP thoughts are OK but this steps comes after the activation of the trunk.

As far as I know the Interface must be user, but if I'm wrong I'm sure somebody will correct me on this.

Ask me if you need more on this.

In holland we have to use "etsi"protocol and the TEI is "auto" Plan your work............Work your plan

The screenshots were of great help -thanks

Can you setup a TN2198 2-wire BRI card as a trunk group as well? I cant figure it out. I tried "add trunk 50" and changed it to type BRI/PRI but when I try to add a port of the BRI card it says it is the wrong type.

What am I missing?
