I need help. I accidently deleted a bunch of files from the recycle bin. How can I go about recovering them? Where do I look? What extention do I search for?

Help!!!! I need these back! I have not over written anything since this happened. Is it even possible to do a recovery??

You need a third party utility to do this. There is no undelete that I am aware of in W2K. You may find some shareware at downloads.com that may help but it always an uphill battle trying to recover.

Hello, RexRacer.

I would advise you to fetch rescue.zip from :

and install it. It is freeware, and has my highest esteem towards the author A Grau for making it freely available and excellent functionality of the software.

Thanks you've been a big help. I'll keep you all informed if it works.

Be careful of this though - Once you install any program, you chance overwriting the areas of disk that your files lived in.

Bill.

I didn't about that. Thanks
