Odd problem this.
I came across it a while back at a previous company I worked for. It has just come up again in a conversation with an artworker at my present employment.
Basically a document is created on Mac A.
This documetn is then opened and worked on on Mac B.
When the document is re-opened on Mac A, sometimes the stacking order of some of the boxes has changed. i.e. Some things are now behind things they were previously in front of.
The machines I was dealing with at the time were running the same versions of quark (4.11), with the same extensions (QX Effects iirc). The fact that QX Effects has a layering tool made me think perhaps it was something to do with that. Though we never used this tool. I did some tests but never found a solution.
Anyone come across this apparently rare problem?
Better still, can someone tell me what causes it?
