To determine how long it will take to write and debug a program, take your best estimate, multiply that by two, add one, and convert to the next higher units.

If I read this correctly they plan to merge Delphi and C++ Builder into a single product that can compile both languages?

Would be swell, especially if they can be mixed in projects (though I don't expect mixing them in sourcefiles will or even should be supported).

am I supposed to get only sound and no visuals?

No. I got both.

bcb6 can edit delphi forms directly if one of the bcb source files is changed. i have the details somewhere.

it can also compile delphi source directly as well as it has the same compiler onboard as delphi.

so u can mix source files already from pas to bcb using bcb compiler.

so ill guess they will allow full mixing
