When I turn on my pc it does not boot properly and I have to hit a key to get it to boot. What did I delete when I was cleaning my files out, and can I reprogram it to boot properly

One would need more precise informatione to determine the problem.
Please describe machine, operating system, exact fault description (what EXACTLY does it tell you when it stops), and as best you can, What Cleanup you were doing (what software was used, or if manual, what directories were messed with), etc.
