Hi Everybody

My Friend had a windows 2000 server on his machine. He installed Windows XP as a second OS on an other drive
Everything was working fine until he did that. Now his machine does not work fine with windows 2k and gives the error Dumping Physical Memory ot disk and then reboots and this cycle goes on and on. It is working fine with Windows XP

We also some data stored under C drive with NTFS and how do we backup this data if we have to format and reinstall Win 2k

I cant figure out the error and what may I do to solve it.
I tried scandisk.

your Windows 2000 may be detecting hardware or hardware driver failure.. you may need to look at the error your are given by the blue screen, and investigate it further.. such as hardware or drivers... uninstalling the faulty driver or hardware may help solve your problem...

to back up, boot the 4 setup floppies and select to repair the installation.. u will be offered a DOS-like interface where u may run a limited set of commands...

good luck...
