I was wondering if anyone could recommend a great book for Citrix Presentation Server 4. We recently purchased it and I now have the pleasure of getting it up and running.

Thanks in advance.

To be honest I have never read any Citrix books. The admin guides are pretty damned good. Providing you do exactly what it says and not wht you think it says. The best way to learn this product is to actually get your hands dirty.

i know that may not be the answer you were looking for but ascotta is right. i had the same question last year and you really have to dig into the Admin Guides. if you can find someone local at another company that you can use to bounce ideas off, that would really help. otherwise, keep reading and/or posting to this group. it's proven valuable to me.

also, check out the forums at and

Thanks for the tips. I have printed out the Admin Guides so I have some weekend reading. I am sort of under a little pressure to get this up rather quickly.

Quick question. We have a dedicated server which is running Presentation Server 4. We also have dedicated web server for our company intranet which is running Sharepoint Portal Server. So I am assuming that I install the Citrix web interface on the web server, correct?

Thanks again!
