Can anyone recommend any good books for someone looking to learn SQL.

Thanks for the replies. I did look at FAQ183-3324 but noticed that all or most seem to be SQL2000 and the post itself is from 2003.

With 2005 having been out for a while now, I thought they may be more updated books.

For 2005 look at the inside SQL Server Programming books by Itzik Ben Gan
If you also need to learn design then Louis Davidson's book is excellent
