How do I create a boomark in one Word 2003 document that will take me to a section in anonther Word 2003 document.

Hi hdesk:

I could be wrong but I think you want to create a hyperlink, not a bookmark. Highlight text in doc1. Insert menu/Hyperlink. Browse to other file. Click OK. Click the link and it should nav you to the other doc.

Yes. A bookmark IS a location - range actually. Hyperlinks are essentially actions. One will take you to another location.

There are other ways to do the same thing.
