What software do other people use for Room Booking?

We use a little excel program called
IT Reservations
written by a teacher from Oxfordshire
It's slow and a bit buggy,
but it's not bad for £15!!

I've seen some school's use outlook,
but we don't have an exchange server,
so that's not an option.

I have been looking at MRM, by NetSimplicity,
but it's expensive.

Does anyone have other suggestions?

The last company I was at that didn't have Exchange I wrote my own. It only took a couple of days to make a nice little web interface and allow for bookings in 30 minute chunks.

As far as I know it's still in use.
