I'm about halfway through "Bootstrap" by Kenneth Hess (ISBN 0-9711873-0-4). He started Banner Blue Software in the mid 80's, and ended up selling it to Broderbund when sales reached 23 million. "Family Tree Maker" is one of their titles that people might be familiar with.
The book is the story of how he started & ran the business, and I'm enjoying every paragraph.
