BO document increasing size

I am using Business Objects 5.02 and noted that when saving a document the size of the new version is greater than the old one, i.e, every new save of a document increases significantly its size.

Even if I refresh the document with exactly the same configuration (and of course get the same results) when I save the document its size will be much bigger.

This situation will deteriorate the BO performance at every use and eventually make the document useless.

Does anyone has experienced this problem ?
Does anyone know this issue and, if possible, how to solve it ?

This is a very old problem. You are on a VERY old release. This whole thing got much better in 5.1 and is not a problem in 6.1 at all.

There is little you can do other than to rebuild your reports.

I will have to ask my company's HelpDesk about the possibility of upgrade SW version and contract issues.

We had a different sort of problem. Even after purging the DP's one report took 3MB and with data it took only 3.4 MB.
