BO Data Provider

I am currently using BO 5.1.6 on an Oracle 8 data base. I have an external comma delimited file of IDs that I would like to utilize as a selection criteria when building a report. e.g. ID (in BO Universe equal) to ID (in external file).

Can anyone give me some hints as to how I might accomplish this?

Develop a tables using Universe & personal file. Then link it in the report level. After that do the comparison

That's certainly 1 way. The other way is to develop a Personal List of Values and point it the text file.

The only problem I can see is that the CSV will likely not work the way you want.

I think a personal LOV will want a single column of data.
