Weh I start up my Small Buisness server 2000 I get a blue screen on death. The actual error message is

STOP: C00026c {Unable to load device Driver}
\SystemRoot\System32\DRIVERS\psched.sys could not be loaded
Error status was 0xc00012f

then it goes on about if this is your first time seeing this. i've tried to load it up in safe mode but it just retarts it self and i really need to get this computer up and running.

the problem ocurred while i was re-installing act! and the whole thing crashed. i waited for a while as theis computer is slow and then retarted it.

please could someone help me asap

thanking you in advance

rick

I had a similar problem when I moved the hard drive of my w2k server to a new machine, and I managed to get it working by booting from the windows cd and asking it to perform an upgrade on the partition containing the damaged system.

Give that a try. C:\DOS:>
C:\DOS:>RUN
RUN DOS RUN!!

ok.

i´ve had a quick loook at the options and im not entily sure what you mean. i know that i´ll have to go into the repair bit but cannot find the upgrade thing your on about

could you please clear this up for me.

thanking you in advance

rick

I think I just asked it to install windows on the damaged partition, and it automatically chose to 'upgrade' the partition from Windows 2000 to Windows 2000 (!?) C:\DOS:>
C:\DOS:>RUN
RUN DOS RUN!!
