They are pre-built appts in Cognos Planning: Budget, HR planning...and others. They have been created by Congos. We have downloaded the HR planning blue print for use with performance appraisals. For the managers to enter employee ratings vs using Excel worksheets.
So far I haven't found much about others using them, or in so cases even knowing about them. But when the wheel is already out there why try reinventing it.
We already know we will not be useing every part of this blue print, but it's a starting point.
