Blocking Restricted calls to DN

Is there a way to block Restricted calls to 1 DN

you can block all calls to a dn, from external. what are you trying to block. there is not a way without symposium to block a group or single number

One of our users is receiving harassment calls from a restricted (Caller Id Blocked) number.
Is there a way to prevent this type of restricted numbers from appearing at the extension?

I do not know any way to block a particular call like you have mentioned. The best advise is that you may have to get your carrier involved to further trace the call. Is it a silent call or is it actually a person talking and harrassing? It's not a fax or modem trying to call through - if so tranfer to a fax machine.

another faster cure it to transfer the call to 9,911... seems to slow down the harassment

You can also check with your carrier. Ask them if they can stop calls that are suppose to have CLID but don't. I know they can do it on good old B1 lines but I'm not sure about a T1 or PRI.

you can do that with a pri, but all your customers that don't have that feature will not be able to call. a little drastic to stop one caller

Here they block just the ones that use the CLID Block Feature. If a call comes in from somewhere that don't produce CLID the call will come in normal.

We used to give the person a new DN and put the appearance of the DN on security's set - or as John Poole says, send to 911 i.e., dummy acd queue night call forwarded...?
