I've been asked to see if I can block an incoming number from dialing into our main number or customer service hunt group after 4 PM. Is this possible? Thanks for any help.
Yes, you need to create an incoming route for that number. On the incoming route put the number you want to block in the "Incoming CLI" box. Next you will need to create time profiles to assign to the incoming route. Assign the time profiles to the incoming route so during the day calls ring to the hunt group. After hours you can set to go to a an auto attendant that just disconnects the call.
I have done this with robo calls that come from the same number all the time.
If your not going to it right don't bother doing it at all!
