We use Nortel Norstar M7324 phones. My boss asked me to find out if there is a way to block incoming calls from ringing on his phone when he is already on a call. He was on a conference call today and his phone kept ringing and blowing his concentration on what was begin said during his conference call. Nothing is detailed in the Reference Guides that we have. Your response is appreciated.

I don't do too much with Norstars, but what if he were to forward his phone before getting on the conf call, would that work?

Thank you, trvlr1, I will look into that! Do you have any knowledge about DND (Do Not Disturb) button programming? With many thanks.

Feature 85 (Do Not Disturb)then make a call.
Feature # 85 to cancel DND

Other options for full time 1 call only (tech or fully trained admin required):
Assign 1 Intecom button instead of 2
Assign Call Forward Busy to vmails DN

Thank you! Will try right away. Appeciate it.

In capabilities set the phone to DND on busy. this would stop a second call from ringing that phone whenever it is in use. If he is only interested in when he is on confrence calls then just DND (feat 85) and cancel when done (Feat #85)

We tried DND (feat 85) but my boss said that the phone still rings when he's on the conference call. you mentioned stopping the second call. does that mean that the phone would still ring once, and then the second ring would be stopped? with many many thanks.
