Hi,

Occasionally one of the many fax machines on my campus is accidentally dialed to a wrong number, usually a private residence, causing repeated annoying calls from the fax. Could someone tell me how to block my PBX from being able to dial that specific phone number? (I used to use ARS Analysis to do this in Definity PBX’s. Typically I would leave the number blocked for a day or two, until the culprit hopefully realizes they have fat-fingered the number.) Thanks for any help.

deny it on the NXX in ld 90 if local, on the NPA if LD.

Thanks,

for local would I enter nxx with the exchange, then enter the last for digits for the number to block?

Here's what I did. It appears to have worked.
