Hi guys, anybody can help me please?
I want to block collect calls (BCC) in my link E1-R2, but I'm having many problems. Here we use E1, but I suppose you use T1, so, any clue about T1 settings will be good.

You have put the "Brazilian" locale in the system? That the only locale the supports "BCC"
On the user under the Telephony tab/Supervisor Settings the option "Can Accept Collect Calls" needs to be unticked.

Also check Line Signalling, i think you need to use CO.

Line Signalling: Default = CPE
This option is not used for lines where the Line SubType is set to QSIG. Select either CPE (customer premises equipment) or CO (central office). The CO feature is intended to be used primarily as a testing aid. It allows PRI lines to be tested in a back-to-back configuration, using crossover cables.

· The CO feature operates on this line type by modifying the way in which incoming calls are disconnected for IP Office configuration in Brazil and Argentina. In these locales, the CO setting uses Forced-Release instead of Clear-Back to disconnect incoming calls. The Brazilian Double-Seizure mechanism, used to police Collect calls, is also disabled in CO mode.

Ok Bas1234 I checked the configuration and the IP Office is configured with locale Brazilian and the option " Can accept collect calls " is unticked.
The trunk Signaling is CPE, and I tried with CO too.
Do you have another tip?

What version are you on? There was a bug in the an old release on 3.2.x if you had VMPro pointed to and AA.

On the E1R2 check the Advanced tab on the BCC timer default it's set to 1000ms but try it on 500ms

If that won't work, then it think you'll need to contact you BP or Avaya.

Did you check you provider?

I think it was 3.2(57) so you could upgrade to 3.2(69)

Bass1234 I have the same problem, and my calls come in for a VMPro AA, but the version of IPO500 is the R5.0.
I don't know if this bug is influencing in my problem.
Do you know if existed a patch to correct this bug?

No, but try to contact AVAYA or your BP then they could make a ticked if more people have the same problem then they can make a private build.
