I recently applied a couple of patches from Microsoft after having a problem with the server not allowing logins after 30 minutes (or so) of up time. Now my workstations are getting blank session windows for the applications. If you look at the client connection status it shows:

Connected to server: (Unknown)
as user: (Unknown)
Encryption Level: (Unknown)

if you move the mouse around in the window the outgoing bytes counter goes up.

Server Config:
windows 2000 server sp4
citrix metaframe 1.0 xpa feature release 3 sp 4

i din't know if this might be related but we also moved our primary domain controller to a windows 2003 server as well as the terminal server licensing server.

I'd delete the MSLicensing key on each client workstation and try to connect again, particularly since you note that you've moved the licensing server.

The regedit solution posted on citrix above solved the blue screen. After fixing that Internet explorer and outlook would crash from an ica client but would run properly from the server desktop. Turns out to be a problem with the speedscreenapi.dll and windows 2000 service pack 4.

Delete the following keys from registery to correct the problem.

HKLM\Software\Citrix\CtxHook\AppInit_DLLS\speedscreen\iexplore.exe
HKLM\Software\Citrix\CtxHook\AppInit_DLLS\speedscreen\outlook.exe
