I have WOL set up on my network to wake computers in the morning. However, I've found that for some reason when the computer is in standby Windows doesn't seem to reinitialize the display when woken up.

Does anyone know if this is an issue with Windows or the BIOS? Several different BIOS revisions and types, so I'm not so sure the BIOS is the problem.

Is the network card set to "Allow windows to bring this device out of standyby enabled?"

problem is this sometimes stops it going into standby.

Hmm. Well, it seems to go into standby alright, it just doesn't come out of it properly when WOL is used.

If a user presses a key on the keyboard it wakes normally.

I'll check that today. Is there a similar setting for the video card?
