I've got a report that is essentially done but is being annoying.
I handed it to the requestor and he said "This is bloody brilliant but...." I cringed. "....I'd like to group it by dates." Ah. Well, I think I saw a way to do that and lo! I was right.
The only problem I have now is that I'm getting blank pages again. When this happened in the original report I poked around and the newsgroups recommended putting "not(onlastrecord)" in the "new page after" formula box for Sections Expert for Group1 footer. Worked like a charm. Well, now that I have it grouping by dates that's my Group 2. I wanted it to group by Contractor and keep each contractor on his own page. If he needs two, fine, but page break before the next one. Now that Group 2 is in there, though, if I have a very full page it will end up giving me a blank after it.
Suggestions are appreciated. I know this has to be something dumb and obvious I'm overlooking.
