I have a report that has two levels of grouping. I need each record to be on a separate page. The report sorts fine and prints each record on separate pages, but the first page is always blank. I have tried changing the "keep together" and "force new page" settings around and it seems no matter what I do, the first page only is always blank.

Any ideas??

Thanks!

Look at the properties of the header bar...it might be that it has a "force new page before section"...change that and it should solve your problem

You'd think it would solve it but it didn't--I had it set to after section, then I tried before and after, then none, etc--

I ended up leaving it at none (force new page) and just adding some blank space to the detail section so that it would not try to print the next record on the page (keep together was set to yes), and it worked for this report, but I know that is not the way to do it! Oh well, thanks for your help anyways--
