Blackberry Handheld SDK 2.1 Help

I have an older RIM Blackberry that I need to have data transferred to my PC. I've found several sources that point to using Blackberry's software development kit v2.1, but that program is no longer available. Does anyone have any idea how to get this program or perhaps another method of getting my data off the PDA?

On a side note, the cradle syncs with a COM1 connection not USB.
