So, I'm at a studio cleaning up one of the Premiere 6.5 computers. I opened a project and i found that, at certain points in the program, the audio plays, but there is no video. When I go to the source clip and check it out, I see that the clip's size is now correct for an avi with only audio (3.4mb for example). I am quite sure that the person who digitized and edited the material wouldn't have done so without video, so I don't believe it is an operator error upon capture. The other really peculiar thing is that, the clips were captured using reference avi's. The corresponding reference avi's size is about right for what would be a clip with video. So, the clip itself is 3.4 mb and the ref avi is 58.4. Anyone seen this happen? I also noticed that in some cases, the loss of video in clips was sequential. That is, video from clips numbering from 121-199 were gone.
Please Help

Linkage to reference AVIs is easily disturbed by copy/paste/move/delete for any of the elements. Maybe someone 'tidied up' before you got there?
