Bios settings on compaq computer

Does any one know how to get into the bios settings on a compaq 5660 desktop pc? I would appreciate any help I can get

Read the thread carefully I posted. You have a two second window in which to hit f-10.

Jim don't be offended please! Iv'e had laptops , but can't remember that 2.seconds window.
Good we are not over 65 ,then we could never react fast enough to open the bios . ( have you heard about sarcasm ..)

Okay, I should've done this to begin with. I looked at the Compaq (HP) site and here is what it says:

So this model uses the F-1 and not the F-10. Sorry, about that. Sorry, SYAR2003 , I aplogize. I took your comment wrong. My fault. I've had a bad day.

No offends taken . Btw i still think that it's pretty
silly by compaq to make it so hard to enter bios .

Yeah, they do a lot of junk I don't like. franklin has a point also that there could be some software involved here.
They didn't mention it at the Compaq site, though, for this model, that I could find. If the disk has ever been formatted and this software wiped out, you won't be able to access the bios on some models.

What about telling us joe what your problem is ,causing you
to modify bios settings . Doesn't seem like this qualifies as an expert post discussing key presses (hehe)
