Why is it that my bios keeps beeping when I play a game?
This does not happens when I was using Windows 98, and now I'm using Windows XP.
I dont think my computer is overheated or anything.
There's no problem when I'm watching video clips or listening to music.
And I think the games I played doesnt requires a very high end computer..
Any ideas?

What do you mean by your BIOS beeping... do you mean your motherboard?

Is your computer clean of spyware, adware, viruses?

Give us your complete configuration, including what you have installed, so we can check it out.

I would think that you're hearing an overheating warning. What motherboard are you using?

good call Smah.. show us your configuration, and tell us which game you're playing

i'm using ASUS P4B266-C.
What do you mean by configuratiob?
I'll give you the specs for the motherboard:

SYSTEM MEMORY :2 GIG
PC2100/1600 DDR SDRAM
AGP 4X SLOT

There's also another thing I forgot to mention.
I changed my graphic card to NVIDIA 5700 Geforce FX.
Do you think this is the problem?

And I have to emphasize that I do not had this problem before, when I was using ATI Radeon 7500 and Windows 98.

Is it Windows XP or my graphic card thats posing the problem?

By the way, i was playing Alien versus Predator 2 and Age of Mythology.
Thanks.

What you have now puts more stress on the CPU (= more heat). Do you have any way to monitor the temperatures when at idle and when playing games? Check in bios setup to see if you have a "temp threshhold" notification.

Is it beeping out an actual code or just random beeps. Sometimes the system speaker will emit a beep if you hold down a couple keys at a time too long.

I think its random... No, couldnt be I'm holding down any buttons.
