I am building a computer for myself. I plugged everything together, and after I booted the computer, it checked for CPU and memory and it was fine. I then went into BIOS session, but after I moved the up/down arrows several time, the bios froze. If I don't go into BIOS, then it will detect HD, CD-Rom, Floppy drive and the peripherals, and then try to boot from some device, but it then freezes there. Does anybody have idea what is going on? I am thinking it probably is due to the bios, but I haven't got the chance to do the bios upgrading yet since I am worried that it might freeze again during the process of upgrading.

Thanks a lot.

Forgot to mention that the motherboard is gigabyte GA-8SR533.
