Hello,

We have a PIX 501 in a datacenter where we do web hosting. Until now we have had 1 public ip range on the outside and 1 private on the inside.

We just got a new block of public addresses which I would like to add to the outside. I still only want 1 inside range.

I have tried adding the new addresses with their default gateway to the outside. Then creating the static mapping and any rules neccessary. But I can't get it to work or find any documentation that helps.

To help illustrate:

Inside: - Outside:
192.168.1.2 - 205.9.12.2/255.255.255.0 gw 205.9.12.1
192.168.1.3 - 205.9.12.3/255.255.255.0 gw 205.9.12.1
192.168.1.4 - 205.10.59.67/255.255.255.0 gw 205.10.59.1
192.168.1.5 - 205.10.59.68/255.255.255.0 gw 205.10.59.1

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Steve

You can't add a secondary range on an interface. How exactly did you try to do it?

Chris.
