I have been running BIND 9.2.3rc1 for Windows NT/2000 on a single Windows XP system using a dial-up connection to access the internet for quite some time with no problems. However, upon recently activating Internet Connection Sharing with one other system, I have begun to experience some very severe problems. It seems like whenever the second computer initiates the dialing of the modem, BIND begins to consume large amounts of processor power, grinding the system to a halt. I have been unable to locate what's causing the problem. I have activated what I beleive is the most extensive logging available, but I am still unable to find anything suspicious. It is a caching-only setup. If anyone knows what might be causing the problem, I would greatly appreciate any help I can get. Thank you. zathmyre@yahoo.com
