My wife received permission to include a copy the book of Revelation for her masters thesis. I'm trying to reproduce the layout for the version she's quoting from.
At the top of each page is the book title and first and last chapter-verse number references for that page, eg: Revealation 2:14 - 3:5
How do you do this in InDesign? (...which I suspect was used to do the original version
) I've read the help on table of contents and index, tags, etc, but am drawing a blank. If there's another way to set custom markers I haven't found it yet.
From what I know, the idea of a 1st-verse/last-verse marker on a masterpage would be nice, except masterpage is global in scope, and the verse references are local in scope, confined to each page.
Thanx.
