Hello,

I was recently attempting to install Battlefield Vietnam to my gaming machine. During the install, the game offered to update my graphic drivers to my NVIDIA GeForce 5200.

On reboot at the conclusion to the install. Following the XP Pro splash screen with the loading icon, i am presented with a black screen and the only moveable object, PLZZZ help as this holds my backups and all my files, what could have happened and any solutions plz, any help will be greatfully accepted, have spent hours searching google for an answer. Hit F8 early and often at startup and choose Safe Mode.
Use the Driver Rollback feature of device manager to rollback the display driver.

I have tried Safe Mode, with the same result, this is very worrying to me, i have never seen something like this, and have tried many things such as safe mode, could unplugging the graphics card be of n e help??

ANYONE have any other ideas!?!?

plz

On the way into Safe Mode at the Options Screen see if you can load the "Last known good configuration" option.
