even with the preload option, the text will appear before the image loads. I wanted to prevent his as it doesn't look good in my opinion for t he text to display first without the background image, any help would be appreciated.

also unless you use javascript im still not sure you can tell the text to not load until images load. all preloading means is that all the images will be loaded and then all come up at once. but for loading sense i think this is just a nit picky problem that shouldnt effect your site. everyone expects items in a page to load -- to get bent out of shape because of what loads first is preposterous.

u can optimize the image....use &quot;tiling&quot; in your advantage if the background can be &quot;patterned&quot;.....

so hard to read and overly beveled

to much everywhere why use such an image as a background on dark text?

the thought was to demonstrate some creative talent with the background image, the text was simply for the search
engines and for the viewers.

It's getting there.
