Im looking for the best way to distribute a report to users so they can access and run reports to their specifications... We don't want to get into installing Crystal on every computer.. What we have is 4 or 5 people out in the field and they need to use some reports a couple have windows 98 and a couple have windows XP our report uses paramaters so the user can enter what paramaters they need for that particular report.. We are looking for the most cost effictive way to get the reports to them We currently have Crystal 8.5 Std edition.. For the users that have XP i have found a neat program that works but only with XP but not for 98.. IF anyone knows if Crystal has any built in ways to distribute reports and to have the ability to enter new paramaters when the user accesses the report that would be great most of the ways i found only allow users to view the report not enter new paramaters Any help would be great... Thank you

I would consider 3rd party solutions as well:

And BO has a scheduling and ditribution product called Crystal Enterprise, which is fairly expensive.

With the higher editions of Crystal Reports they included a freebie Crystal Enterprise Standard, perhaps even with your edition, I've never owned the Standard edition.

This allows for viewing reports on a browser.

Can you provide more detail on your comment above?
Typically, this is an issue of UNICODE support (which is required for Crystal 9 reports and above). Are your rpt file pre- or post Crystal 9?
