Best way to allow only a few 900 numbers?

I have an Option 11 (rls 25.40) that have I been requested to block all 900 numbers except for 3, system-wide. Can I just add an AC entry for 900 and allow SPNs for the 3 numbers? What would be the best way to go about accomplishing this? Please excuse my newbie-ness! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

the way i would do it is in ld 90

npa
1900 321

then point it to the rli i wanted to use for that call, in load 86 prt rlb then return through. usually the same rlb you use for 1800. you may have a block in the office that is providing dt, that is very common. when you allow a npa, the numbers dialed provide a match.. 1213, is a match, the call is not screened past the 3, spn is used for 911, 1010 etc.. for 7 digit screening 1900 321, allows that 7 digit match and no other

Can I specify the entire number vs 7 digits? For example, can I specify all 11 digits 19001234567, and block all other 900 numbers? I would assume that if there is no match of the administered digits it would, by default, be denied. 7-digit screening might allow some numbers that shouldn't be allowed.

This all came about because someone thought it would be funny to call some pretty expensive phone-sex numbers. Currently 900 numbers are not blocked, however there are a few (legitimate) numbers for credit-reporting agencies that I must allow for our accounting and HR people.

Thanks for your help!

i haven't entered the full 10 digit number, but it's worth a try, almost all 900 that need blocking are 1900 hot or 1900 sex... i have all 900's blocked but have some toll denied stations that have access to 1 xxx 213, a hosp in an other wise denied npa.. the rlb or those 6 digit numbers are set to frl 2, allowing non toll users to make a few toll calls. and yes they could dial other ld numbers in that npa, but that hasn't been a porblem so far

Deny 900
alow 900xxxxxx1
alow 900xxxxxx2
alow 900xxxxxx3

this denys all 900 and only alows the 3 that you program.

good catch, better the 7 digit, utilize the deny exception

also, you can use Suplemental Digit Restriction or Recognition (SDRR feature) in LD 90 for alow or deny numbers in NPA.

1900 was programmed as an SPN in the switch. When I tried to add SDDR codes, I kept getting bug codes:

ALOW
BUG841
BUG841 : 0 00001991 0 00001995 00000000
BUG841 + 106C4A44 1083FC5C 1144168E 11441374 114412A0
BUG841 + 114409AA 1143E65E 1143E600 1143DF9C 1143D574
BUG841 + 1143D0EC 1143CF2E 1143CBE8 1143CA9C 1143C94C
BUG841 + 1143C8E8 109C91DA 109C7FFA 109C32CC 109C3180
BUG841 + 109B8EAE 109B154E 109B0BA8 10F000E0 10EFFEA6
BUG841 + 10EFFD88

But when I made 1900 an NPA I could enter SDDR codes just fine. Here's my AC1/NPA:

NPA 1900
RLI 31
ALOW 4637399
ALOW 5552525
ALOW 55525
ALOW 5556978
SDRR ALOW CODES = 4
ITEI NONE

I just realized that I don't really need the second ALOW statement, as the 3rd one will cover it. I wasn't sure about the DENY statement the ACEWARLOCK mentioned. If I put a DENY 900 wont that just deny 1-900-900-XXXX? I suppose I could put 10 deny statements for each digit...For example:

DENY 1
DENY 2
DENY 3
Etc, Etc...

So here's my question...By not having a default DENY, will it allow other 900 calls that are not currently adminstered as ALOW? Or are they denied by default?

Thanks again, your help has been great!

no, your right on the code, if i allow one number, i have auto denied all other numbers..
