Hey have recently gotten Dreamweave MX. I have always wanted a Tech web site that I created. I really like the Halo look of many websites. Is there any tutorial websites that I can go to learn how to do this. True, I can use the Halo Left Nav template however it's not the exact way that I would like it to look. Please Help Me..

maybe not exactly what you are looking for, but then again a "template" is nothing more than a general layout of a site with graphics as you like/desire/want.

Here is a location with some pretty decent tutorials on mainly graphics. Most are for photoshop, but if you have something like paint shop pro you can typically follow without too much trouble.

I should add to that.

Once you get a general look and feel of what you want, you then save it as a template in dreamweaver. Then create editable regions.

One key here with regions and DW - don't be shy on adding editable regions.

I typically have the navigation panel a region, the main section one entire editable region - even if the page is split into two sides.

Give yourself room to move in other words. And spend time on that template, you can create items on the template that are inside a editable region - like the navigation for example. Later when you use the template, new pages will automatically bring that portion along. So take all the time in the world on that Template - it will serve you well as you progress.

On the flip side however, if you go back and add something inside an editable region - existing pages will not update with that - only areas outside the editable region will be updated.
