BEAUTIFY DOES NOT WORK

THE BEAUTIFY FUNCTION ON THE TOOLS MENU HAS STOPPED WORKING.I HAVE CHECKED THE PATH UNDER FILE LOACATIONS AND EVEN RE-INTSTALLED VFP. THERE ARE NO ERROR MESSAGES IT JUST DOES NOTHING WHEN I TRY AND RUN IT - ALTHOUGH THE DIALOGUE BOX DOES APPEAR.

1. There should be an application called "BEAUTIFY.APP" in your default VFP directory. This is generaly distributed as an APP. If for any reason, some one tried to open it or whatever and ..... instead of BEAUTIFY.APP an exe or a com stays with same name ... elsewhere earlier in the path statement... The beautify.app may not run as expected. (But you say the Dialogue Box is appearing which is puzzling for this approach). I suggest, you give a wild card search for BEAUTIFY.* in your directory C: or D: or whatever and understand with what I explained above.

2. Also in the Command Winodw if you issue the command..
? _beautify
the VFPs system variable specifying the application name will be displayed on the screen. This shall guide you in searching that.
