BE Failure...Remote Agent Not Present...

I'm running BE Version 8.5 in a Win2K AD Domain. My backups are failing (although the data is being backed up) and the log file says "Remote Agent Not Present". Well twice now I've installed the remote agent through the back-up server and registered it. It is also shown running as a service on the server being backup up. Any ideas? Thanks so much.
