BE Can not attach to itself

Hello,
In my backup server i get en error: "unable to attach to c:. unable to attach to SERVERNAME\BKUPEXEC.
Unable to attach to Shadow?Copy?Components."

why does the server can not attach to itself? i can ran the backup manualy and it works fine.
