I have a couple questions regarding BE v9.1
1)At the moment i have setup alerts to send an email on successful backup jobs. This is fine but it means i get over 15 emails that i have to check. In a previous company it we use to receive 1 email with all the jobs summarised in 1 email, does anyone how to do this?
2) I use 5 LTO1 tapes for my backups. The BE was previously configured by someone else. At the moment each night i run a quick erase, once i have done this i scan the drive so that it updates the barcodes. THese tapes then appear in scratch media. In order for the jobs to run i have to drag and drop the tapes into a created media set called "first". Im not sure whether this process can be automated or whether im doing something wrong, but it seems silly to have to do this every night.
