Hi EGR,
We have an SQL server built as Windows server 2003 and back it up on a daily basis without any problems at all.
Media Server is a Windows 2000 server with Backup Exec 8.6 installed.

Hi,
Just to add to the above comment I am using the Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows NT/2000 on the Windows 2003 Server. It works well. No issues as yet anyway.
