BE 10d sql agent not releasing 2005 databases

All,

I am running BE 10d on a Windows 2003 Standard server with the MSSQL agent. I am running d2d2t configuration. Here is my issue: When backing up a sql database, the BE software will complete but BE will not release from the database. When you query the database it looks as if BE is still connected. The DBA's are always asking me if my backup's had finished.

Why is this happening? Any ideas at all?
