I am exporting a query to a csv file using bcp. I would like to be able to also export the field names into the csv - which it is not doing... any ideas how you do this?? i.e. is there any syntax in the command string that lets you specify this which I don't know about?? They seem to give you lots of options but not that one??

If not in BCP, you can do it in DTS by setting the "first row has column names" to true. Robert Bradley
