I am trying to not count abandoned calls under 5 seconds on my BCMS Vu reports. Avaya said to set my "System-Parmameters features" BCMS/VuStats Abandon Call Timer to 5 seconds yet I still see <5 seconds abandoned calls on my BCMS Vu Abandoned Calls Split/Skill Interval Report. If I am reading the feature description correctly,(see below), talk time <5 seconds is now counted as abandoned. Is there a way to not count any call under 5 seconds?

(BCMS Vu Abandoned Call Timer description: Specifies the number of seconds before calls are considered abandoned. Calls with talk time that is less than this number (and that are not held) are tracked by BCMS and displayed by VuStats as ABAND calls. Valid entries - Usage 1–10)

I had a similar situation, here's my work-around:-
Set the service level increments so that your first increment is 0-5 seconds (this is done in call centre administration under split/skill call profile set-up on the CMS supervisor GUI, but I'm not sure on BCMS) when you go to design a report the abandoned calls less than 5 seconds will be in ABANCALLS1 (relating to the first service level increment) then on the report enter a custom calculation along the lines of ABANCALLS2 + ABANCALLS3 + ABANCALLS4 etc etc so that you do not count those calls abandoned in the first increment.
Its a bit of a sloppy work around however it's always useful to have a total picture of your abandoned calls when doing analysis on things like auto-attendant.

Hope this works for you, let me know how you get on

PDHall, that would work with CMS but BCMS Vu only gives you "canned" reports. As far as I know I cannot customize any of these reports unless I export them and write my own customizations. That may be my only option. Thanks for the info.
