BCM50 1.0 to 3.0 upgrade -keycodes???

we have a bcm50 rel 1.0 i have the software to upgrade it to rel 3.0. when i perform the upgrade will the installed keycodes be lost?

Do you have all of your existing keycodes saved somewhere easily accessible? It always good to have them on hand just in case.

I believe when I upgraded from 3.0 to 5.0 the keycodes were still in place on the system. The one time I lost the keycodes was when I did a level 2 reset.

Even if you lose the keycodes you can always get them from the Nortel keycode site again. I have had hard drives die in machines and had to download and reload the keycodes before without an issue.

When you activate your auth code to upgrade to 3.0 you should get one keycode back. Which should list all other items on your system. I would check your system with the Nortel KRS just to make sure that they show everthing you loaded on the system before you upgrade. The reason I say this is because 6 or 7 years ago alot of bad codes hit the market.
