Has anyone ever used the programming record excel files that are on the CD's? If so do they connect to the BCM and auto fill the cells or do you have to enter all the data by hand?

Thanks.

I've always programmed everything by hand.
I do not trust those things, but then again I never tries using them.

It's easy to program, after you've done a few and this way you know there is nothing else on the system.

But then again this is my preference.

As far as i know you must enter the Data manualy using those files

Why not Use the BCM feature that allows you to SAVE a record off all the programming.
Even how each phones buttons are programmed
You can save it as a HTML or EXCEL file

Go to services-save All DATA or just select the page you are on.

Play with it and see what suits.

It can take up to 45 minutes for a large system But most time it takes about 15 to 30 mins.

Then go to Call pilot and save the Programming there using the Reports..I usally save them as a NOTEPAD file then insert them into the spreed sheet.

Another IDEA is to do SCREEN DUMPS and copy them to a spread sheet for a basic visual reference.

Have Fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!
