Has anyone used the BCM product line in a MAC environment?

I understand that i2000 series IP Phones will work on the network.

The challenge I am about to face with all your support, is the Notebooks. I know BCM are Windows base.

The new MAC'S have Intel chips and there is a program by Apple called Boot Camp that allows the user to load Windows XP Pro and run it as a seperate OS.

Has anyone tried this or know of anyone running Boot Camp?

BCM runs on a Windows NT platform but you really do not use the windows program itself, you only use your browser on a different machine to talk to the BCM.

Thanks John, But how will the i2050 soft phone work on the MAC Notebook?

Biggest problem I can forsee is how the Mac will handle the Windows interpretation of USB drivers for the USB headset. That being said, if it is truly the Windows OS running (no more ugly Windows emulators as in years past), and there are Windows drivers for the chipsets that the Mac uses, you should be OK. That being said, I'll be curious to see what the official stance will be on manufacturers support of "Windows Enabled Macs". I hope Apple pulls it off - that'll be a cool PC.

Have you asked your vendor to get you a copy of the i2050 that you could load and try?

The 2050 software is included with the BCM, look under the clients page from the Unified Manager start page. You will need an IP client license.
