bcc going out many times

MS Outlook 2003 & Exchange Server 2000

I sent out a blind cc to 50 names on my email list.
All the people complained that they got multiple copies over multiple days.

My queues are currently empty...though is does look as if my Exchange server actually sent the email multiple times.

Anyone know what could cause this?
