Hi everyone, I didn't see a batch forum per se so I hope soemone here can help.

I am trying to see if there is a way to pass an ID and PW in a batch file when launching a web page.

I am calling iexplore - but this internal site has ID security built in and requires a logon. I can't set it to no logon, even for a guest visitng the page. I am also unable to enter an ID and PW and have it remember those for future requests.

So my problem is that I need to automate launching this web page and pass the logon credentials in the batch somehow. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Kinda sounds like what i was doing maybe you could build in NT Authentication into it so it just reads what User name and password they are logged on as and sends it to the database.

Hey Joe, that's what I'm trying to see if anyone can lead me in the right direction on how to "build" that into my script

I have an ASP help desk if you are interested i might be able to dig through the code and find where it is doing the Authentication tell me if you are interested.

Thanks Joe for the offer. I'm trying to lauch a console page for What's Up Gold, not able to give you exact code.

All I am trying to do is call iexplore \\webpage and have it pass the ID and password
